Mobile Game Development

Commercial iOS, iPadOS and Android games with touch-first interaction, device-aware art direction, progression and release planning.

Production shaped around your requirements

When comparing mobile game development companies or gaming app development companies, look beyond a screen recording. Ask how touch interaction, device memory, battery use, store requirements and update support are tested. Our mobile game development services cover the production decisions that connect player experience to a maintainable iOS or Android release.

Design for the way a device is used

Mobile production begins with a complete session: launch, orientation, meaningful play, reward and return. Orientation, touch targets, interface density and interruption behaviour affect the core design. A phone-sized screenshot cannot demonstrate whether controls are comfortable or whether the player understands the next action.

We scope real-device validation around representative hardware and screen sizes. The plan includes performance budgets, sustained-session checks and recovery when the application is backgrounded. Supported operating-system versions and device classes are agreed explicitly.

Integrate the commercial systems deliberately

Mobile games can include player accounts, cloud saves, achievements, leaderboards, IAP, advertising or subscriptions. These systems introduce product, platform and support requirements beyond connecting an SDK. Purchase handling, restoration, offline behaviour and user-facing error states belong in the acceptance plan.

Monetisation follows the intended audience and game experience. Analytics and remote configuration can support learning and balancing when their purpose, access and data handling are defined. They do not replace playtesting or justify unclear purchasing flows.

Prepare both platforms for release

Shared code does not eliminate platform-specific release work. The production plan accounts for builds, signing, store materials, device testing and the client-owned accounts needed for distribution. Existing PC concepts are assessed for input, information density and session structure before a port is estimated.

A mobile proposal should identify the smallest representative slice that proves the intended experience. From there, content production and release planning can proceed on measured evidence instead of assuming a desktop prototype will translate unchanged.

Planning your engagement

What should we include in an initial brief?

Describe the intended audience, core player experience, target platforms, reference games, available IP or code, budget range and launch priorities. Identify the requirements that are fixed and those you want us to help resolve. We use this to determine the next scoping decisions.

What is included in the production proposal?

The proposal records the agreed scope, assumptions, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, review process and commercial terms. Source access, IP rights, third-party costs and post-launch responsibilities are defined for the specific engagement. Submitting an enquiry does not order paid work.
