Essential storage
The consent preference is stored in the browser and in a first-party cookie for up to 180 days. The private admin area uses a signed, HttpOnly session cookie with an eight-hour maximum lifetime. Security rate limits operate on the server. These functions support preferences, authentication and abuse prevention.
The brief and calculator can place an unsent draft in session storage after you choose to take it into a proposal. It remains in that browser session until submission or removal. Form entries are not automatically sent to analytics.
Analytics
Analytics is off until accepted. If enabled, a pseudonymous first-party visitor cookie identifies returning browsers for up to 400 days. Events record visited pages, approximate country where provided by the host, and selected actions. The admin dashboard uses these events to calculate visitors, article views and CTA activity.
Configured third-party analytics may set additional cookies according to the provider’s settings. Google Analytics and other services are not loaded while their relevant consent is absent. Browser blocking, cookie deletion and declined consent mean these reports are not a complete census of people visiting the site.
Marketing and functional categories
Marketing is off by default. Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn integration points remain inactive without configured IDs and marketing consent. Google Tag Manager is conservatively gated on all optional categories; any future container must also enforce category-specific permissions.
Functional consent is reserved for optional conveniences or embeds that need storage. A future video or interactive integration must be assessed before activation. Essential functionality does not require accepting these optional categories.
Changing preferences
Use Cookie Settings in the footer to accept, reject or change individual categories. Reject Non-Essential leaves essential storage enabled. Withdrawing optional consent stops future optional loading, clears the first-party analytics identifier and reloads the page to end active integrations.
You can also manage cookies through browser settings. The site cannot directly remove every cookie belonging to an external domain; provider and browser controls may be needed. Changing browser settings may affect authentication or saved preferences.
